Lollipop moments happen when someone does something that improves another person’s life. Such lollipop moments occur subconsciously! The talk of lollipop moments became popular with a TEDx talk in Toronto. As Drew Dudley drew an example, two students were introduced to freshman orientation at the university by him, and later, the couple got married. As the couple claimed, Drew was the catalyst for why the couple stayed in the college and even became life partners.
This infamous story of everyday leadership drawn from Drew reminds us how powerful we are. Every human being on earth is powerful, and we hold transformational power. It is the subconscious beliefs that hold us back from being the leaders that we naturally are. Even without specific intentions, the little things we do can have a lasting effect on others. Human factors such as kindness, empathy and bravery can lead to sustainable transformation in others and a community!
The lollipop moments that we refer to, derive from how doing small things to others can have a lasting impact on them! However, my view on self-ignited lollipop moments refers to being who we are and connecting with our authentic selves, which can also lead to wide-ranging impacts. As human beings, we tend to sabotage our self-worth and leadership potential. Whether we believe it or not, we all are leaders when connected to our higher selves. The pure version of energetic influence can have a powerful self-ignited transformation.
As leaders, we are responsible and catalysts for our self-growth and transformation. Self-transformation occurs because of self-love and self-healing. The magic frees us from the limitations of fears and stereotyped and society-enforced versions of ourselves! When we connect to our authentic selves, this leads to fulfilment, creativity, and spiritual transformation.
The catalyst for self-transformation is a beautiful, powerful, and breathtaking journey. It takes courage to admit what must be fixed and what remains to be our authentic goals. Our deepest subconscious desires become our goals, and they hold valuable intrinsic motives to our goals! When we tune into our pure energy, we become unapologetically authentic, fear to courage/love, doubt to determination, and ego to self-fulfilment. This frequency creates a beautiful, charismatic aura powerful enough to transform others.
Such subconscious leadership is the best version of transformational leadership. You lead by being yourself! You lead by your inner charisma without even intending to lead others! You, being the authentic versions of yourselves, influence and draw others to you! For example, a woman who stands for herself against unrealistic social stereotypes sets an example for society. Even the things she does for herself can become a lollipop influence on society!
So be brave, set examples, connect to your authentic self & self-ignite lollipop moments!
Our next post will cover practical ways of connecting to the authentic self.
